love life and fill your life with love
it has been a few months since I have posted anything. It seems as if anytime I make a transition in my life I find it hard to sit down on a computer for more than 5 minutes.
What is this most recent transition?
1. I met a beautiful wonderful Muslimah and got married in February
2. I quit my job and moved back to Chicago
3. I started a new job and now all I do is play games with little kids all day.. woo wooo
4. I rehabed a condominium with my wonderful father
5. Went to Spain and Morocco..
It has been a busy few months. Anyways, it is time to get back to work.
Over these last few months I realized a really important thing. I learned that it is important for us to find joy in every aspect of our lives, even the frustrating and stressful aspects. We are so fortunate that God even gave us the abilities to eat, to see, to breath, to walk and we complain about a lack of ‘luxuries’ in our lives(cars, money, concerts, etc). The other important thing I learned was that it important for us to fill our lives with love. If you cannot honestly say you love your life, I think you should take sometime to examine and reflect on the great things you have in your life that you may not even realize. Ohhh, and brothers… let us step up and be men.. Go find a wonderful Muslimah, man up, and ask her to be your companion in this dunya
